From the outside, I had it all together. From the inside, I was carrying more than anyone around me could see.
I was an introvert in rooms that rewarded volume over substance, rooms built for people who take up space differently than I do. My work was real. It still got misread.
I didn't need more motivation or a hype speech. I needed clarity, a framework, and someone who could see the actual problem.
That person didn't exist for me when I needed them. So I became her.
I've spent more than fifteen years in global operations and customer experience leadership: running enterprise programs, holding BPO vendors accountable to performance, and building operations from the ground up.
I've sat on both sides of the table. I've been the leader under pressure. I've been the one escalating the leader under pressure.
And I built leaders on purpose along the way. The people I developed moved up, stayed, and outdelivered louder rooms.
Unapologetically Michelle takes that work beyond the org chart. I coach through IMPACT Collective, the practice I founded, using the IMPACT Methodology and the ALIGN Session Model, frameworks I built to turn insight into action. My husband, Victor Odhiambo Ombee, is my partner in the practice and brings a steady, grounded presence to the work.
